Sound experiences and immersion in the landscape
True to the DNA of Eufònic, which goes through the exploration of the link between sound and landscape, the festival will pass proposals and experiences impossible to reproduce in other spaces than the Ebre Lands. Among these proposals are framed the sound ride for the Delta proposed by OVERture, the interactive audioguides that will be activated in La Ràpita conducted by the artist Carlos Álvarez, or the fantastic proposal of Tim Cowlishaw & Jakub Fiala, creative technologists and researchers in R & D of the BBC, which will involve the visitors of Eufònic in the creation of a sound collage from the personal recording of the festival experience through an application.
Also within the investigation on the creative and sound possibilities of the landscape include the artistic residences summoned jointly between Eufònic and Lo Pati Center d’Art of Terres de l’Ebre, that will take until the hamlet of Balada three projects of the hand of the collective La Forasteria, the sound artist Edu Valderrey and the performer Alba Rihe. The results of their residences can be seen during the days of Eufònic. Eufònic 2018 will also host the poetic-musical performance “Lecture on Nothing” by John Cage that culminates the Grand Tour 2018 and the VR performance of Martina Ampuero.
