In her conceptual approach, she explores the limits of photographic practice, the non-negotiated spaces of social practices and the idea of \u200b\u200btransformation as a constant of time. In 2013 she founded <a href=\"https:\/\/le18marrakech.com\/en\/home\/\"><strong>Le18<\/strong><\/a>, a multidisciplinary art space for artists, curators, researchers, cultural agents and local communities. It was born as a space designed for learning, experimentation and exchange on topics such as the role of the arts in the evolution of socio-cultural ecosystems or the effects of global tourism in the configuration of local landscapes and their perceptions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Francesca Masoero<\/strong> is an independent curator, researcher and cultural project manager. She is founding member of Madrassa Collective, a transnational curatorial platform. With a background in critical theory and political economy, she is interested in intersecting interdisciplinary research with collective curatorial methodologies and collaborative socially engaged art practices, investigating the role they may have as forms of resistance and as forces of transformation.
