Fundación Casa Wabi is a non-profit civil association in Mexico that promotes the exchange between contemporary art and local communities in three locations: Puerto Escondido, Mexico City and Tokyo. The name originates from the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, which seeks beauty and harmony in the simple, the imperfect and the unconventional, and its mission focuses on forging social development through the arts, which lead carried out through five key programs: residences, exhibitions, mud, cinema and mobile library. Alberto Ríos de la Rosa comes from Mexico to know Eufònic festival and its artists, and to introduce us to the project, one of the clearest symbiosis between artistic practices and sustainability.
