Some of Eufònic’s program will take place at Decentraland, a decentralized metaverse on the blockchain, the technology behind cryptocurrencies. This is an immersive space populated by avatars where there will be space to perform, to exhibit, and also to chat, with the premiere of “Beyond” by Playmodes on August 27th. We will talk with Kay Patru, the creator of Sugar Club, one of the most popular spaces in Decentraland, and with Jason Bailey – known as Artnome – a specialist in art and data. With them, we will discover how virtual creation and the art market work on the blockchain (crypto-art) and the opportunities that these environments (and cryptocurrencies) can provide to artists.
