In the context of Eufònic 2018 and in collaboration with the New Arte Foundation and BEEP Electronic Art Collection, a unique project is presented at Lo Pati Centre d’Art Terres de l’Ebre: the sonification of Anthony McCall’s installation “Face to Face II” by Mark Fell, one of the leading artists in sound and multimedia research, and deconstruction of dance music through experimentation with technology. Anthony McCall is known for his “solid light” installations, a series that began in 1973 with his seminal line “Line Describing a Cone.” Occupying a space between sculpture, cinema and drawing, the historical importance of his work has been recognized internationally and his pieces can be seen at the Tate, MOMA, MACBA or the Pompidou in Paris.

The format of the presentation will allow the audience to enjoy the original silent format of McCall’s piece, and at alternate times, Mark Fell will present his “soundtrack” to it. “Face to Face II” is a project curated by Arnau Horta.
