Within the Eufònic STNBL call, we will revisit this project that combines contemporary dance, improvisation, music, and technology. Its creator is Eneritz Tejada from Barcelona, founder of the Blinding Universe collective and an artist specialized in the creation and programming of technological devices that explore the relationship between the human body and technology through sound and light experimentation. In “Human Learning” the performer uses an interactive device composed of gyroscopic and accelerometer sensors (similar to those in smartphones) that create and modify different audiovisual actions in real-time based on her bodily movements. The main challenge here is to understand how we can integrate recent technological innovations into dance and the impact that technology has on the movement and emotions of the human performer.
