This art installation proposes a dialogue between our physical body and our digital body: between the human microbiota (the billions of microorganisms that inhabit our body and form microbial ecosystems) and the sets of our personal data residing on the network. Three decantation funnels drip cultures of microorganisms collected from the bodies of the two artists; each drop is traversed by a laser beam that visually amplifies the content; and as each drop falls, it activates a bot that, through AI, generates texts from conversations between the artists over 3 years and other digital information. This allows us to explore physically and sensorially the ways in which algorithmic systems operate in the production of contemporary bodies and subjectivities. The piece has been selected within the Eufònic STNBL call and could be seen last year at the Mostra Sonora i Visual of the Convent de Sant Agustí (BCN).

Opening hours: from 11 to 14 July from 16:00 to 21:00
