In 2018, Catalan biologists and visual artists Toni Aranda and Marta Royo founded the scientific visuals studio called SHOOK Studio that aims to make scientific knowledge more accessible through art and design. At the Tortosa Museum we’ll see their ‘Stream’: an AI and 3D-based, immersive art installation that communicates the past, present and future symbiotic connection between humans and the Ebre river Delta to trigger the viewer’s reflection on how anthropogenic climate change affects the Delta’s community. The artists aim to distill the essence of conversations, memories, experiences and future projections intergenerationally from people in the area, the AI and themselves creating an abstract, dynamic and captivating digital art piece that encourages viewers to consider the consequences of their daily actions on nature and life in especially fragile surroundings like the Ebre’s Delta.

OPENING HOURS: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00-13:30 h and 17:30-19:30 h. Sunday, 11:00-13:30 h.
