In Eufònic we admire artists who know how to see in the past a good tool for the new creation. The Basque singer and producer Verde Prato is an example of what we say. She draws inspiration on Basque oral tradition and popular songs to shape a contemporary Basque electronic neo-folk. If her debut “Kondaira eder hura” (Plan B-rec, 2021) already placed her among the most personal new voices of the State, and with the EP “Euskal Pop Erradikala” (Hegoa Diskak, 2022) she transformed radical Basque punk classics into feminine and intimate key, now she flies even freer with “Adoretua” (Plan B-rec, 2023), “courage” in Basque. Songs that travel from light to tragedy and from bolero to pop, and express universal themes such as love, eroticism, family, childhood, loneliness and dreams.
