More than five years ago, Microfeel and Santiago Bartolomé began their collaborative work. On this path of shared experimentation, they created “Fractal Listening” in 2021, a live AV show that combines digital art, electronic music, jazz melodies, the guitar of producer and multimedia artist Sebastián Seifert (Microfeel), and the trumpet of musician Santiago Bartolomé. In this hybridization of artistic languages, abstract figures with vibrant colors shape mandalas and enigmatic portals with 3-D forms that evoke the underlying geometry found in diverse shapes such as clouds, mountains, trees, or our own circulatory system. The algorithmic repetition sometimes follows a visual choreography and other times is altered by the frequencies of live sound, creating a fully immersive sensory atmosphere.
