Xavier Bonfill is a Catalan composer and performer based in Denmark, with a pretty unique proposal within the experimental scene. He is currently presenting his latest work across Europe, the EP “2x2x2” (released on his own label, Don’t Look Back Records). His sound is notable for his ability to intertwine contrasts, dualities, and contradictions. He blends ambient, electronic, deconstructed pop, and experimental elements with a highly abstract narrative sense. His live performances are characterized by their intensity and intimacy, blurring the boundaries between technology and visceral human expression. In 2022, he graduated as a soloist from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. He also founded haknam, a group that explores forms of interactivity in electronic music and multimedia performance, and collaborates with the Danish trio NEKO3, including a piece for prepared piano and LED panels. At the Casino of Amposta, we will see her accompanied by the electronic musician Cels Campos.
