In early 2024, Júlia Collado Riu took the decisive step to say goodbye to the stage name Iris Deco and adopt her real name. It was with the release of the EP and short film “Mai s’ha trencat del tot” (It Has Never Broken Completely) that she marked the transition to her current artistic stage, leaving behind the alias with which she had stood out as a promising and versatile voice within the Catalan music scene, fusing soul and R&B in her debut album, “Golden” (2021), also collaborating with artists like Clara Peya and sharing the stage with renowned figures like Arlo Parks. The search for authenticity and the need to reconnect with her own identity has led her to “Z nombre complex”, a work of experimental pop in which she emotionally undresses, travels between darkness and light, and also uses Catalan, her mother tongue, for the first time. Do not miss the opportunity to witness her radical transformation, accompanied by the beats and arrangements of Toni Llull.
