A sensory journey, a sound bath, a horizon of frequencies at the limit and enveloping landscapes. The live proposal of this Valencian duo unfolds an electronic ambient full of harmonies, voices, and the omnipresent accordion that carries its legacy and tradition, driven by the strength and poetics of the dialogue between Latorre and Comelles. Both creators have been collaborating since 2016 following their shared interest in the work and thought of the North American composer, electronic pioneer, mystic thinker, and accordionist Pauline Oliveros. Since then, they have released “For Pauline” (2018, Crónica), a compilation of two pieces of ambient electronica, noise, and soundscapes around the concept of “deep listening”. Latorre composes music for audiovisual media, performing arts, and concert. Her work draws from sound experimentation that stems from tradition and roots. Edu Comelles is an artist, musician, and cultural manager whose work unites sound art, music production, and sound design in different areas of culture.
