As part of the Eufònic Terra programme, which is linked to protected products from the Ebre regions, Valencian visual artist and performer Ángeles Císcar will be carrying out a site-specific performance in a clementine trees field in Xerta (Baix Ebre). Her creative research explores the moving body, space, and objects as elements that shape her ideas. This is because she understands art as a process of exploring the environment and personal growth, driven by the desire to share this research, and her practice encompasses formats such as performance, performing arts, video performance, installations, sculpture, photography, and often transdisciplinary projects in collaboration with professionals from other fields. Her focus is on visual poetics, with the aim of generating new symbolisms that allow for the construction of imaginaries based on cooperation, interdependence, and empathy. She has been an artist in residence at spaces such as Hangar (Barcelona), the National Center for the Arts (Mexico City), the Espronceda Institute of Art (Barcelona), and the Center for Contemporary Art and Sustainability El Forn de la Calç – CACiS (in Calders, el Moianès).
