Holding a degree in Audiovisual Design, Thalia Escribano is a Barcelona-based young artist and creative whose work stands out for crafting visual imaginaries through 3D and mixed media techniques. She experiments with recreating natural elements and organic forms, applying them in innovative ways across fields such as photography, video, and graphic design. Her approach to blending the digital with the organic follows poetic and meaningful threads tied to her inner world, exploring themes such as connection to nature and the search for identity in an increasingly technological world. By fusing the tangible with the intangible, she transforms the everyday into a new, magical, and surreal reality.
This new work, which will take over our virtual room “la Sala Sintètica”, titled “Entities of the Threshold”, is an augmented reality experience that introduces abstract figures into everyday surroundings, acting as liminal presences between the human and the technological—in that threshold where our physical and virtual realities intersect and overlap. These entities can only be revealed through the body and space, emerging precisely at the point where both dimensions meet and coexist, without ever fully merging.
