Replicating the 10 audio channels of Norwegian artist Jana Winderen’s immersive sound pieces, we will conduct a dynamic and fun workshop for children. The activity involves a circuit in which participants gradually create a watercolor artwork in stages, using different types of masking techniques and materials that interact with the paint—some of them sourced directly from the local environment, such as salt, rice, or sand.

This workshop is designed and led by Marta Barceló, a visual artist, illustrator, graphic designer, video artist, and watercolorist with a notable track record as a workshop facilitator in various cultural centers in Barcelona. She has led activities such as Aquí la tramem at the Barcelona Dibuixa festival in the DHUB, and Orientarse en la oscuridad más absoluta, a watercolor workshop interpreting the vision of bats, as part of the Temporals program and by invitation of artist Núria Nia. She has also delivered workshops and lectures on Bauhaus women, participated in artist residencies like Konvent Zero, designed the book “Sóc la Dolors Aleu” by Ana Montserrat Rosell, and collaborated on numerous educational projects.
