A multidisciplinary duo based in Barcelona and formed by Paola Idrontino and RDMT, whose sound reflects the creative heritage of their respective backgrounds in textile craftsmanship and audiovisual creation. Blending poetic sensitivity with multi-instrumental practice, their artistic work emerges from a desire to uplift one another and connect with listeners. Their sonic and visual universe seeks a balance between intuition, materiality and emotion. They have presented their work at venues and institutions including MACBA, Ket Galeria, Centre d’Artesania de Catalunya, Konvent Zero, Espronceda, Espai Niu, Sala VOL, Centre Cívic de la Barceloneta, Zilzal Sonic Ceremony and A Love Supreme Festival.
At Eufònic they will present Displacement, an immersive installation combining masks, light sculptures, video and sound to create an ecosystem in constant transformation. The project explores displacement -of people, communities and species- through a landscape where fragility, resilience and change coexist and continuously redefine one another.
