MERCÈ moves within a space where experimental pop, electronics and a raw emotionality coexist without hierarchy. Her project starts from sound, but doesn’t stop there: she also works with the digital body, virtual identity and an aesthetic that understands music as part of a broader universe. There is introspection, tension and risk, but also a very distinctive way of bringing it to the stage, where fragility and intensity coexist within the same language.
Mercè
MERCÈ is the project of Lleida-born artist and composer Mercè Segura, who broke through with just two singles, RUNNER and WHY EMMA?, enough to position her as one of the most singular voices of her generation and earn her the Grup Cases de la Música 2024 grant. In 2026 she presents RISC (Luup Records), her debut album, unfolding it through a practice that goes beyond music: a 3D avatar, a shooter video game and self-produced visuals all form part of the same creative universe, where technology, perception and experimentation share a common ground. Live, she builds an experience that balances intimacy and avant-garde, connecting with a raw, extroverted and emotional imaginary.
