Heads up — these ones hit hard. Every now and then, a band emerges from the UK that makes you sit up instantly, the kind that grabs hold and doesn’t let go. With a handful of songs that nod as much to Anne Clark and Saint Etienne as they do to techno-pop and dance electronics, the London trio — no, they’re not two people, not twins, and not from Oslo — blend shimmering synths, syncopated rhythms, hazy guitars and the voice of Claudia Vulliamy, which seems to appear out of the shadows. Deeply cinematic in sensibility, their songs move between emotional fragility and a subtle but constant rhythmic drive, somewhere between introspection and the dancefloor at 3am. Armed with synths and gear — a Nord Stage, a Korg Minilogue and a Moog — they’ll deliver an immersive and elegant live show that turns nostalgia into something strangely luminous. They’ve never played here before, so don’t miss it.
Oslo Twins
Oslo Twins are a London trio formed by Claudia Vulliamy, Eric Davies and Ed Lyness. Emerging from Bristol’s DIY scene, they have quickly become one of the most promising names in the new wave of British electronic pop. They’ve performed at festivals such as Green Man and Manchester Psych Fest, shared stages with The Last Dinner Party, and in 2025 released the EP Tresor, a record that firmly established them as a band with a distinctive voice within the UK independent scene.
