She can just as easily appear with a guitar in her hands as surrounded by autotune, electronics and heavy basslines. The artist from Terrassa has crafted a distinctive universe that moves between dark pop, electronic post-punk, techno and neo-perreo, with songs that explore desire, cruel love, loss and emotional reconstruction. Performed as a duo, her live show unfolds like an intimate, slightly claustrophobic room built from sonic and visual textures that oscillate between fragility and tension. Echoes of the 1990s can be heard throughout – from PJ Harvey to Massive Attack – alongside a distinctly contemporary approach to production and vocal treatment. Music that explores vulnerability without sacrificing intensity.
Lys Morke
Lys Morke is the project of Irene Talló, an artist and music producer from Terrassa. Since 2019, she has been developing a distinctive language at the intersection of sound and visual arts, blending genres such as ambient, dark pop, techno, electronic post-punk and neo-perreo with roots in alternative and progressive rock. In 2024 she released her debut EP, *Knife Therapy*, through Canadian label Artoffact Records. She has performed at festivals including ArcTanGent, Soulcrusher and Ex Abrupto, toured across Europe with A.A. Williams and Kalandra, and has also opened several shows for the legendary band The Cult in cities across Europe.
