We are reaching the end of CO-VISION, the European project co-created by eight festivals. And what an ending it is. After two years of work, we will finally see the shape taken by the piece developed by Australian artist Lauren Moffatt, based in València, together with SHOEG from Tortosa and Jaume Vidal from Amposta. Situated at the intersection of art, nature and digital innovation, “Mapping the Invisible” explores the transformations of ecosystems through a critical and poetic lens. Taking diatoms -essential yet almost imperceptible microscopic algae- as its starting point, the project builds an augmented reality experience that connects science, imagination and territory, while questioning seemingly stable ideas such as invasive species, natural balance and heritage. A situated digital narrative that invites us to look at the Delta through different eyes, immersed among waters emerging from the ground in a place as singular as the Bosc de Ribera.
