Vacca: “Gran Hall”

An acoustic climate of indefinite duration – this artist from Granollers, an indispensable figure in Catalan sound art since the 80s, resumes his delicate work “Grand Hall” (presented for the first time in 1997) for the 13th time. A musical appropriation build like a collage forming new compositions and scores – a huge bank of sounds with a common nexus in the musical note ‘F’. Vacca opts to give a twist to the question of the question of the originality of the artistic work through self-conversion.
