As part of Eufònic Terra, the programming line that reinforces the festival’s landscape character, we have encouraged this artist and researcher in creative technologies to carry out a sound action directly related to clementines. Based in Barcelona, in his artistic research Albert focuses on the interactions between humans and algorithms, on perception and aesthetics in situations of sensory conflict, and on the transformation of artistic practices in virtual contexts where digital artifacts intervene in the cognitive process. He currently coordinates the new Master’s in Digital Arts and Creative Technologies at La Salle Campus Barcelona / Universitat Ramon Llull and works under his synthetic identity Albert.DATA. He was an artist in residence at Sonar+D x Factory Berlin (2020) and has received awards such as the Re:Humanism Prize and the We are Equals – MUTEK Music Academy in recognition of his work on the relationship between art, science, and AI.
