Licensed in cinematography, this Barcelona artist works in documentaries and independent films and, for two decades, has been an active member of the Barcelona underground music scene, organizing concerts and co-founding Dublab BCN. As a solo artist, he has performed at festivals such as Sónar, Meakusma and Atonal Berlin, and has worked with labels such as Dauw, Stroom, Mondoj and Aguirre Records. Committed to hybridization and collaborative practices, he explores the interconnection of sound with ecology and technology. In his Eufònic residency he will work on “Signal Extraction”, a sound art project that reflects on the unidirectional communication between species, resulting from the mass diffusion of sounds in our hyper-industrialized era. Through the use of trees as receivers to capture frequencies and allow their subsequent manipulation, he will keep exploring the complexities of arboricultural communication networks, inspired by radio connections.
