From a Delta hut, with a traditional “suquet d’anguila” (eel stew) waiting on the horizon, “Els processos contra les bruixes 2026” unfolds as an experimental radio action exploring the interferences between the far right, fear and contemporary forms of resistance. The piece takes as its starting point Walter Benjamin’s radio broadcasts of the 1930s, when radio became a tool for thinking about how power manufactures monsters and singles out those bodies that exist outside the norm.

Directed by Efraín Foglia and featuring Antònia Folguera, Tim Cowlishaw, the UOCLabs, MobilityLab’s algorithms and the distinctive soundscapes of the Delta, the action works with voice, noise and silence as its raw material. What is broadcast, what is concealed and what remains as interference becomes another way of listening to the present. And yes: there will be eel stew at the end. Let’s begin.

Efraín Foglia and Antònia Folguera

Efraín Foglia is a researcher, designer and educator specialising in digital culture, interactive media and hybrid practices that connect technology, communication and public space. His work explores the ways digital devices, infrastructures and data systems shape how we relate to one another, move through the world and construct collective imaginaries.

Antònia Folguera is a curator, communicator and cultural activist working across digital arts, electronic music and technopolitical practices. For years, she has operated at the intersection of culture, technology, feminism and critical thought, developing projects that create spaces for understanding the present and some of its more unsettling trajectories.
