Farai is a Zimbabwean-British artist whose tracks, released via NON Worldwide, are a kind of scrappy electronic post-punk that combines digitalism of neon and roots ancestrals, with an energy out of the common that so much drinks of Miriam Makeba and of the stamp Hyperdub. Together with producer TØNE, she creates a sound that’s vivid and sparse, as if it was painted in thick brush strokes of primary colors. “I’m a warrior”, she sings, all while sitting stoically in the midst of chaos. This is going to be the first time they will be playing in Spain.
