Analog synthesizers, processed vocals, classical arrangements and field recordings constitute the essential ingredients of the meditative music of this Japanese artist residing in London. Her acclaimed debut, “a journey…” (2022), included therapeutic sound frequencies and binaural sound conceived for its materialization as a sound installation. And in her second album, “stillness, softness…” (2023) she set out to open doors to the subconscious with a “deeply enchanting patchwork”, in the words of Electronic Sound magazine. She has performed internationally in venues such as the Southbank Centre, the National Gallery, St Paul’s Cathedral, the ICA, Kings Place, Volksbühne, Bishopsgate Institute, in festivals such as Le Guess Who, ADE, Pitchfork (London), SXSW (Houndstooth/MUTEK) and the More Ohr Less Festival by Hans-Joachim Roedelius (the legendary German composer known for the groups Cluster and Harmonia) and has performed DJ sets at the Tate Modern and the POLA Museum.
