Abyssal music from Granada, Andalusia. With members coming from drone-noise and experimental rock projects (Les Catapultes de Nepomuk, Ramper), this trio formed in 2023 offers a wild rhythmic feast filled with industrial electronics, sharp noise, no wave, and dramatic silences contrasted with pop and dance elements. The result is a hard-to-define music that, in live performances, is played strictly live using self-built instruments, such as the “farolina” (a kind of electric mandolin made from the frame of a streetlamp) or a DIY synthesizer programmed with Pure Data that allows for stochastic and random synthesis — incorporating an element of unpredictability pioneered by composer Iannis Xenakis, whom the group is named after. The three singles they’ve released so far on various platforms reveal a bold personality, with influences like The Body, Xiu Xiu, Model/Actriz, This Heat, Rooie Waas, Sophie, Crystal Castles, or Wolf Eyes. We eagerly await both their debut album with the Humo Internacional label AND their concert at the Casino of Amposta!
