Portuguese multimedia designer, sound artist and researcher Pupo was born 36 years ago on the island of Madeira, in 2016 he moved to Barcelona to study the Master in Sound Art at the University of Barcelona and currently lives in Amposta. As a speaker and composer, he has participated in exhibitions, festivals and conferences in Portugal, Spain and France, and has three works published by Lisbon publisher Colectivo Casa Amarela. His sound art focuses on conceptual composition intermediate, combining field recordings with generative techniques, and reflects a deep interest for the intersection between sound and other art forms. It also promotes auditory awareness through theoretical-practical workshops and talks on the practice of listening. In Eufonic 2025 he proposes a sound walk conceived as an exploratory activity to enhance the conscious listening through immersive exercises.
