> We were really looking forward to welcoming Kiar back to Eufònic, but unfortunately she won’t be able to join us this time. We hope to see her back very soon!
> Joining the Cosmic Night at the Observatori de l’Ebre on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, is the duo Edith Alonso and Elena Juárez with Momento 0.17, an audiovisual performance about the precise moment when the cosmos aligns to make life possible. The piece was originally scheduled to be presented at this very venue last year, but had to be cancelled due to the wildfire that sadly broke out that same week. This year, at last, we’ll be welcoming them with our eyes and ears wide open!
We want to say it from the outset: right now, there is little we are looking forward to more than seeing and hearing her again. Between alien atmospheres, spectral folk, cinematic electronics and deeply human emotions, Girona-based artist Kiar creates a sonic universe that is as mysterious as it is magnetic. Singer, composer, producer and visual artist, she grew up in a remote valley surrounded by nature and star-filled skies, a landscape that permeates her music entirely: expansive, intuitive and charged with a strange cosmic nostalgia.
With a voice that seems to arrive from somewhere else -at times ancestral, at times almost inhuman- her compositions move between science-fiction atmospheres and post-punk, gothic country and the most intimate and vulnerable folk. One of the most distinctive features of her artistic universe is also present: alien languages of her own invention, which she combines with other tongues and which have been part of her creative world for years. After a long public hiatus, Kiar returns to the stage at Eufònic. You may think of many reference points, but they all seem to converge in a voice with a personality that is impossible to mistake. We can think of nowhere else we would rather be that day.
