“Animated Score for After the Deluge” moves between cinema, music and device. Here, the film is not fixed: it is activated. Each piano key triggers visual fragments and alters the narrative.
Selected for Eufònic STNBL 2026, the piece is reactivated in a new context while maintaining its open logic: without a performer, there is no film. The narrative —a city emerging from the mud after the deluge— unfolds in real time, between order and chance, breaking away from cinematic linearity and shifting into a hybrid space between image, sound and gesture.
A work that does not simply play: it happens as someone makes it happen.

Laura Ginès (Barcelona) is a filmmaker and visual artist. Trained in Illustration, Art and Design, her practice sits at the intersection of experimental cinema, animation and installation. Her work is part of the Xcèntric Archive (CCCB) and has been shown at venues such as Anthology Film Archives (New York), the Cinematheque of San Francisco and Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid).
