“Cartografia de la intel·ligència artificial generativa” starts from a direct question: what makes it possible for us to generate texts, images or responses in a matter of seconds? Far from the idea of an immaterial or almost magical AI, Estampa draws a visual map that connects these tools to the infrastructures that sustain them: mineral extraction, data centres, energy consumption, invisible labour and affected territories. The piece works as a critical cartography of a technological system we often use without seeing its material conditions.

Taller Estampa is an artistic collective of programmers, filmmakers and researchers based in Barcelona. Their practice is rooted in artistic research around audiovisual and digital technologies, archives, and the relationships between art and science. Their installations have been shown at institutions such as Jeu de Paume, Modern Art Oxford and CCCB. In 2025, they received the Premi Ciutat de Barcelona in Digital Culture.
