At BotCampLab, Ted Davis will take part as a speaker with the keynote “Creat[L]ive Coding Bridges”, a talk that connects creative coding, design, and open tools through a practice understood as a space for circulation, learning, and shared experimentation.
An artist, designer, educator, and tool developer based in Basel, Davis has spent years working at the intersection of code, visuality, and education. He is the driving force behind open-source projects such as basil.js, XYscope, P5LIVE, HY5, and p5.glitch, tools that have opened up new ways of programming, visualising, and intervening in real time. His practice brings together research, pedagogy, and digital culture, and has been recognised with awards including the Basel Media Art Prize and the Swiss Design Award.
BotCamp 2026
BotCamp is Eufònic’s digital arts programme in Tivissa: four days of code, generative art, and technology outside its usual frame. It combines BotCampLab, an intensive space for collective prototyping, with an open programme of installations, performances, and audiovisual pieces across different spaces in the village. A place where digital languages are shared, tested, and move from process into public space.
