The singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler was who gave the name Versonautas to this project created in Valencia in 2013 by Ana Sanahuja and Roqui Albero, companions in the ESMUC of Barcelona. Their hybrid language is on the margins of disciplines such as oral and scenic poetry, experimental music, performance and theatre. Throughout their career they have produced five multidisciplinary projects and have written music for theater, video art and dance. In “Astro Azul” (2020), a show also released as a record, they collaborated with Silvia Pérez Cruz, Raúl Rodríguez or Drexler himself. If you want to witness the lysergic potential of Spoken Word, do not miss their seductive and enigmatic staging, surrounded by trumpets, jazz fluidity and robotic tension.
