In this intensive workshop, sound artist and composer Clara Aguilar will guide us in discovering new ways of working with sound as a creative and narrative tool, exploring the sonic spaces that surround us in our everyday lives. Over four sessions, participants will deepen their skills in composition techniques for film and performing arts, combining active listening and experimentation using software such as Logic Pro and QLab.

The workshop will be based on an audiovisual piece curated by the D’A Festival de Cinema de Barcelona, which will serve as the starting point for the development of the compositions. Participants will explore the possibilities offered by space, movement, and sound to create their own unique sonic identity.

With an extensive international career in film, dance, and theatre, Clara Aguilar has collaborated with institutions such as Staatsballett Berlin, the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, and Sónar Festival. This workshop opens the door to exploring innovative and experimental approaches in contemporary sound composition.
