CO-VISION moves forward with the dialogue between art, science and territory in the Delta de l'Ebre
Eufònic continues to face the challenges posed to the first day of CO-VISION
The goal for bringing together artists, scientists and neighbours at IRTA La Ràpita in the framework of Eufònic this summer was clear: to find new ways of looking at, discussing and preserving natural heritage. In the framework of CO-VISION, the European cooperation project that explores how art, science and technology can generate new perspectives and solutions to environmental challenges with a focus on natural heritage, we have created (and will continue to create) spaces for dialogue that connect contemporary and digital art with scientific dissemination, stimulating critical thinking and collaboration between disciplines.
Through the conference held at IRTA La Ràpita on 10 July 2024, all the parties involved, and also through an open call, reflected on the need to communicate in different ways, to rethink how we coexist with other species and to build a more sustainable society. The project emphasises an essential premise: just as some species survive thanks to collaboration, we can also imagine new ways of living and communicating that help us to combat climate change.
The CO-VISION a Eufònic project will continue with new sessions and participatory activities until 2026, promoting cultural co-creation and the preservation of natural heritage with a strong involvement of the territory.
