Eufònic’s professional days at the Escola d’Art i Cultura de Tortosa became a meeting point where the most innovative ideas of art and science merged to explore the limits of contemporary creativity. With a strong focus on the collaboration between humans and machines, and the intersection between disciplines such as digital performativity, artificial intelligence and artistic research, Eufònic Pro 2024 offered, on July 11 and 12, a program focused on the reflections of national and international professionals in the sector on the future of creation and curatorship.
From discussions on human sensory limits starting from Maria Castellanos and Alberto Valverde‘s artistic residency in the Delta, through projects combining generative code, nature and art with Anna Rierola, Thalastasi, Lauren Moffatt and Playmodes together with Hamill Industries, Citlali Hernández and Gerard Valls Montaño, this edition challenged traditional narratives, opened new paths towards immersive creative experiences and brought new knowledge and perspectives that explore the fusion between art and science.
A unique look at the evolution of artistic practices with speakers such as Lissette Lemus, Pedro Rocha and Chizuru Matsumoto, Lorena Juan and Adrienne Wong, Marc Villanueva and Thomas Duret and the curators of Eufònic Pro Marta Oliveres and Antònia Folguera.
