This year we celebrate 10 years of sound, visual and digital performing arts in Terres de l’Ebre (Southern Catalonia) with a longer edition, from 20 to 29 August, Sant Carles de la Ràpita as the epicenter, our fruitful partnership with Amposta’s art center Lo Pati, our bid to organize the PRO events in Tortosa, and many more activities in other surrounding villages. We are waiting for you all!

FIRST CONFIRMED ARTISTS
The line-up of around 60 acts reaffirms our devotion to risk, experimentation and interdisciplinary dialogue: the combination of the digital image of Playmodes and the Brossa String Quartet, the new piano music and dance show by Carles Viarnès and Glòria Ros, the enchanting electronic pop of dani, the queer urban rhyming of Las Bajas Pasiones and the performance by poet and compose Violeta Tello Grau, among many others.

The new version of Tomonaga Tokuyama’s Poetics of Algorithmic Space art installation will be shown at Lo Pati Arts Centre, as well as the first exhibition by Laura Llaneli and Oscar de la Fuente at Tortosa Museum.

EUFÒNIC PRO IN TORTOSA
Tortosa, 2021 Catalan Capital of Culture, will host our professional events on 26-27 August. The Diputació’s Art School and different locations of the city will be a meeting place for international curators and Catalan digital and performing artists. In early July we will announce the program and the application process.

10 AÑOS DE RESIDENCIAS ARTÍSTICAS
Our collaboration with Lo Pati arts centre since 2012 is such a fruitful one! This year’s selected acts include the poet Gerard Altaió and the micro landscaping of Marzia Matarese and Puntalaberinto (Patricia Usero), A.K.A. Arquea Colectivo. In addition, a tour around Ullals de Baltasar will show a selection of performances from the nine previous art residencies.

EUFÒNIC STNBL

With the aim of being a truly sustainable festival, beyond society and environment dynamics, on March we launched Eufònic STNBL, a call for art projects already produced in the past. We have selected 4 projects that will resurface in this year’s program by Yolanda Uriz Elizalde, Miquel Garcia, Julio César Palacio and Raquel Klein + Raquel Gualtero + Za!
