Somewhere between psychedelia, hypnotic loops and a kind of domestic nocturnal mysticism, El Sicariato emerges as a band that’s hard to fully pin down. More than a fixed group, it’s a sonic brotherhood formed by Verde Lima, Natel and Nil “el batero” Bribian — musicians brought together by friendship, experimentation and an almost physical need to surrender themselves to music.

With every instrument they could fit into a car, they disappeared for a few days into the south of France to improvise, record and build pieces without a clearly defined direction, letting rhythms, melodies and atmospheres emerge almost on their own. That trip became Sorèze, a debut EP built from looped drums, repetitive basslines, spectral synths and a floating energy moving between ritual, dream states and free improvisation. Now all that’s left is for them to pack the car the exact same way and make their way to Ullals de Baltasar, one of Eufònic’s most emblematic locations.
