In Matadero by New Art Foundation, the new space for the visual arts of La Ràpita, we will see this video installation that follows the path of milk to its destination as an industrial and commercial product, and explores how music with certain characteristics can influence the cow’s milk production. It is the work of the composer, sound artist and Québec researcher Magalin Babin, interested in space as sound matter and in the acoustic landscape as a vital context, together with the audiovisual artist Laura Gonçalves, who works between France and Quebec, formulates questions about subjective human experience and the duality of the visible or invisible, having recently collaborated in musical and theatrical projects.
