Eufònic Pro 2026 opens registration!

On 16 and 17 July, Eufònic Pro will bring together artists, curators, researchers, programmers and cultural managers at the Centre d’Art i Cultura de la Diputació de Tarragona a Tortosa to talk about digital culture, new creative ecosystems, art and science, rurality and contemporary practices.

Eufònic Pro 2026 opens registration with the first confirmed names of a programme that connects international voices, situated artistic practices and very different ways of understanding contemporary creation. The gathering, co-produced with the Centre d’Art i Cultura de la Diputació de Tarragona a Tortosa, will take place on the mornings of 16 and 17 July at the former convent of Sant Joan.

National and international perspectives to (re)think culture today

We already have the first names joining this year’s Pro! Tamar Clarke Brown (Serpentine, London); curators Roberta Bosco and Mandy Romero; Alberto Novello (NEAT); Daniel Burda (Signal Festival); Richard Neyroud (former head of exhibitions at CRAC Alsace); visual artist Marina Monsonís; artist and researcher Jawa El Khash, who will present the project “Raqqa Ware 2.0”; Josep Piñol, who will speak about the project “Evitada”; Jordi Duch, from the URV Chair for University and Knowledge Region; and the activity “Hacking the World” by Berta Segura and Fran Tur, among others.

Technologies, territory and new ways of working

Curated and led by Antònia Folguera and Marta Oliveres, this year’s programme opens up conversations around the challenges of new cultural ecosystems, disruptive technologies, the materiality of digital technologies, the relationship between art and science, and rural environments as spaces for creation and research.

This is not just about talking trends, but about looking at how people work today: what infrastructures sustain digital practices, what contexts make them possible, what alliances can be imagined between artists, centres, festivals and territories, and how to open up spaces for thinking that do not always end up reaching the same old conclusions.

Conversations, presentations and a bit of Eufònic Pro life

On the mornings of 16 and 17 July, the former convent of Sant Joan in Tortosa will be the meeting point for Eufònic Pro, with round tables, project presentations, conversations and informal gatherings between professionals from very different contexts.

And yes, there will also be everything that makes the Pro the Pro: coffees, lunches, shared bus rides between Amposta and Tortosa, conversations that start outside the programme and the already classic Pro paella. Because sometimes the good conversations also happen when the mics are off.

From the Pro to the festival

The gathering will also connect directly with the opening of the festival. On Thursday 16 July in the afternoon, the usual inaugural route of artistic installations will take place in Amposta, culminating in the triple opening of Eufònic’s 15th edition.

Two mornings of professional content and an afternoon to step right into the festival, with time to listen, talk, network and share ways of thinking about contemporary culture from the territory.
