Eufònic 2026 triple opening!

Eufònic’s 15th Anniversary opens in Amposta with a triple launch of whistling arrows, generative visuals and a line of light across the landscape

Eufònic 2026 begins with three actions that capture what the festival has become today. Arrows transformed into a musical score. Generative visuals drawn live through code. A line of light connecting two historic towers separated by kilometres of landscape. Three different ways of exploring the relationship between technology, contemporary creation and territory, setting the tone for the festival’s 15th edition.

On Thursday 16 July, the opening programme will unfold through three consecutive events, all taking place in Amposta. At 8 pm, Arnau Casanoves and Les Fletxes Xiuladores will activate the Castle Moat with a performance in which archery becomes a musical score. Arrows cutting through the air, trajectories that become sound, and a quintet of archers building a composition somewhere between concert, ritual and performance.

Just next door, at 8:45 pm, Alba G. Corral + YANA will present an audiovisual performance at Auditori de la Fila, the only ticketed event of the opening programme. A pioneer of generative graphics and one of the artists most closely linked to Eufònic’s history -having already performed at the very first edition in 2012- Alba G. Corral creates visual landscapes in real time through code, drawing organic forms and ever-shifting structures. For this opening event, her work will enter into dialogue with the sonic universe of YANA, a pianist and composer moving between neo-classical music, electronic experimentation and cinematic textures. A collaboration that feels as though it was always meant to happen.

At 10:15 pm, Antoni Arola will connect Torre de la Carrova and Torre de Campredó with a line of light. Two towers that for centuries served to watch over, communicate and structure the territory are now reactivated in a different way: as a visual gesture that makes distance, the memory of the Battle of the Ebro and the landscape itself visible, in collaboration with COMEBE (Memorial Consortium of the Battle of the Ebro Sites).

Three actions, three spaces, and a pretty clear way of saying: we’re starting!
