Registrations now open for BotCampLab 2026!
BotCampLab 2026: experimentation, creative coding and digital colonies in Tivissa
Registrations are now open for BotCampLab 2026, BotCamp’s intensive lab, which from July 2 to 5, 2026 will once again activate digital arts—this time from Tivissa (Ribera d’Ebre). A space for work, co-living and experimentation that puts the focus on process—not results—and connects digital practices with a rural context.
BotCampLab: digital colonies and open-ended process

BotCampLab is the core of BotCamp: a set of “digital colonies” where artists, programmers and creators live and work together for four days to develop projects linked to generative art, bots, and live and creative coding. This is not a place for finished pieces, but for ideas in the making.
Work unfolds through collective prototyping, trial and error, and real-time decision-making, within an environment that encourages constant exchange and open documentation. The Lab features leading mentors in the digital field such as Alba G. Corral, Antònia Folguera, Lina Bautista and Marta Verde, under the curatorship of Irma Vilà, and includes the participation of international creators Lu Wilson and Ted Davis, who will open the programme with talks and workshops.
BotCamp: an expanded programme across the territory
Beyond the Lab, BotCamp is the umbrella that brings together the full programme: installations, audiovisual performances, live coding sessions and public activities spread across Tivissa.
Spaces such as Sala Teatre or the old washhouses are transformed into digital stages, with a programme that activates dialogue between technology and the rural environment.

Formats and registrations 2026
The BotCampLab 2026 open call is aimed at both profiles linked to programming and algorithmic practices, and those interested in intersecting digital art with territory.
There are two participation formats:
- Full Pack (€180): Includes workspace, mentoring, all programme activities, three nights of accommodation at the Municipal Hostel (shared bungalows) to live alongside the curatorial, mentoring and artist teams, as well as meals (breakfast and lunch).
- Nomad (€110): Designed for local residents or those travelling by camper. Includes access to workspaces, mentoring, all activities, and lunches.
BotCamp 2026 thus consolidates a singular space where digital creation moves beyond its usual centres and unfolds from within a specific context, with time, community, and room to test, fail, and try again.
